The guitar duo Sakurashimeji, consisting of Masakō Tanaka and Hyōga Takada, will make their first appearance on the Billboard Live stage. They have continued to resonate with authentic words and melodies, winning support mainly from their peers. Last June they celebrated their 10th anniversary and changed the group’s name from 「さくらしめじ」 to 「Sakurashimeji」. For this debut, centered on tracks from their early period that were retaken for the 10th-anniversary project, the release of Sakurashimeji Classics, they will perform in a special arrangement featuring strings, leaving nothing out.
