Originating from Sweden and renowned worldwide for their jaw-dropping technique, the pop-rock band Dirty Loops will stage their eagerly awaited return to Japan, their first in three years! Formed in 2008, Dirty Loops began as an experimental project aimed at “trying things you wouldn’t normally do in a typical music session.” When they posted bold cover videos of pop classics on YouTube, their cover of Lady Gaga’s “Just Dance” drew attention and propelled them into the spotlight. The numerous cover videos went viral around the world, eventually leading to collaborations with songwriter Andreas Carlsson and David Foster, and even to a management contract with Quincy Jones. In 2014 they released their debut album, “Loopified,” and went on to support Maroon 5 on tour and embark on a world tour. In 2020 they released their second album, “Phoenix,” and in 2021 followed with the collaborative project “Turbo” with guitarist Cory Wong. And in 2024, armed with their latest EP, “Beagle,” they are launching a large-scale tour across North America and Europe, drawing even more attention. Their live performances, blending overwhelming instrumental prowess with entertainment, are sure to captivate everyone who watches!
