Jazz singer Akiko, who continues to weave music with her unique sensibility, makes a return to Billboard Live Osaka on a highly acclaimed collaboration stage. Since debuting as the first Japanese female singer on the prestigious jazz label Verve, she has pursued free-spirited musical activities without being confined by genre. As part of a countdown to her 25th anniversary of debut next June, she is currently releasing self-cover singles for 12 consecutive months. Joining her on stage is Atsushi Yanaka, the baritone saxophonist of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, who also demonstrates a wide range of talents as an actor and lyricist.
