ZIN, a singer-songwriter who centers his work on R&B/SOUL and is also a member of the Kansai-based artist collective Soulflex, will launch his first Billboard Live tour. This is a special event that also serves as the release party for his new EP JOJO, slated for release in October. The six-track EP includes: the orthodox R&B ballad that evokes sweet R&B slow jams, “Go Beyond”; “Everytime I,” featuring rapper Kojoe on FKD’s beat; “Distortion,” a track whose lyrics describe the mingle of sweetness and pain with a chill sound; and the bittersweet love song “Moegara,” which sings the theme “loving and hurting are two sides of the same coin.” In addition to the new release, ZIN’s latest work—capturing the present moment as stillness and heat—will be performed in a one-night-only special arrangement, along with his past signature songs.
