Right after graduating from university, he drew attention as a Death-dancer in his stage debut in Elisabeth, and in 2003 he founded DIAMOND☆DOGS. As its leader, he has overseen the staging and overall production, and in 2013 he established the company “BOLERO” to pursue the possibilities of physical expression, creating theatrically rich dance performances. Yoshihisa Higashiyama makes his Billboard Live debut! In recent years he has regularly staged solo performances as part of the “Ying” series, and he continues to explore new expressions of Song & Act. In addition to appearing in high-profile works such as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood (2024), To the Wind That Soars (2023), and Flowers for Algernon (2023), he remains active in solo performances and collaborative events, and anticipation is high for what kind of production he will unfold in Billboard Live’s uniquely intimate space.
