Overview
Guitarist Shigeru Suzuki, a name etched into the history of Japanese rock, will take the stage at Billboard Live Tokyo and Osaka. Not only has he been active in the legendary band Happy End and Tin Pan Alley—formed with Haruomi Hosono, Tatsuo Hayashi, and Masataka Matsutoya—and in Shigeru Suzuki & Huckleback, but he has also released numerous works as a solo artist, continuing to lead the history of Japanese rock for more than half a century. This time, a premium show commemorating the 50th anniversary of the release of his first solo album Band Wagon (1975). Recorded after he went solo to Los Angeles and featuring members of Little Feat, Sly & the Family Stone, Santana, and Tower of Power, the album is still talked about today as a classic.
