Formed by three high-school bandmates—guitarist Yūji Toriyama, drummer Akira Jinbo, and pianist Hirotaka Izumi—PYRAMID has continued as a duo after Izumi’s sudden passing in 2021. In recent years they have been steadily releasing new material toward a forthcoming album. They maintain a wide range of collaborations with younger musicians and continue to push forward and evolve. Now they bring the second installment of their project "Gracenotes," which drew strong acclaim when held in April 2025, to Billboard Live Tokyo and Billboard Live Osaka. Building on the essence of late-70s crossover, funk, and R&B that deeply influenced the two members, they will present an exquisite sound.
