Overview
Singer-songwriter Taeko Onuki, marking the 50th anniversary of her solo debut, and the guitar duo Yangen—comprising Hirokazu Ogura and Yoshiyuki Sahashi—will launch a Spring three-city Billboard Live tour. Onuki fell in love with Yangen’s composition “Gion no Koi,” added new lyrics and recorded it, and their first collaboration came with the 2001 single “Anata o Omou to” (When I Think of You). Since then they have toured together and continued to perform as a duo for more than 20 years—truly two longtime friends. Enjoy to the fullest this sublime performance where Onuki’s straight, luminous vocals gently mingle with Yangen’s delicate, expansive guitar tones.
