AKASAKATRIO, a unit of three super players in Japan’s fusion scene, was formed when guitarist Masayō Andō joined the 35th-anniversary session held in Akasaka in 2021 by Hiroyuki Noritake (Dr) and Mitsuru Sudo (Ba). This time, together with the “traveling pianist” Akira Onozuka (ex-DIMENSION), they make a Billboard Live comeback after about three years and will make their first appearance in Yokohama. The luxurious sound world woven by four musicians—three allies who supported T-SQUARE's golden era, and Onozuka, who performs beyond genres and is acclaimed both in Japan and overseas—is something to behold. Their flawless, intuitive chemistry and high-caliber performances are not to be missed.
