The legend of Japan's jazz world, Sadao Watanabe, will take the stage again this Christmas season at Billboard Live Osaka. Once again, he will deliver a special performance in an exquisite quartet lineup, joined by Russell Ferrante, the pianist of Yellowjackets; Ben Williams, the bassist whom Watanabe has placed great trust in; and Kazutaka Takemura, one of Japan's leading prodigy drummers. The four, who also delivered a mature sound on their ballad-themed studio album But Beautiful, released this May, will unfold a performance marked by uniquely soulful saxophone playing and a world-class ensemble.
