Tortoise Matsumoto
Overview
Totts Matsumoto, Ulfuls’ lead vocalist and a solo artist, will hold his milestone first Billboard Live Tour in December when he turns 60.
In 1992, he debuted with Ulfuls. He broke through with “Guts da ze!!,” and the subsequent album “Banzai” went on to become a million-seller.
In 2003, he released his first solo album, “TRAVELLER,” a collection of soul and R&B classics that are his roots, including covers of Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye.
While pursuing energetic musical activity, he has been active in many fields, including commercials, dramas, films, and writing.
Please look forward to a premium stage, his first under his solo name in about 14 years.
