Tatsuya Nakamura, a once-in-a-generation drummer who is also active as an actor. He leads the five-piece instrumental band LOSALIOS, who will make their Billboard Live debut and embark on a three-city tour. This year also marks 30 years since LOSALIOS began as Nakamura’s solo project. In September they will release an album, “Birds of the Solar System,” the first in 21 years, and subscriptions to their debut album, “The World Map Is a Bloodstain,” will be made available; they have even sold out a two-man live with The Birthday, showing they are gaining momentum. In an intimate club setting, the five-piece deliver a rich, weighty ensemble—what kind of show will they conjure? We hope you’ll experience it at Billboard Live.
