The legendary American rock band Jefferson Starship will bring its long-awaited concert to Japan. Formed in 1974 by the core members of Jefferson Airplane, their second album Red Octopus, which included the single “Miracles” that peaked at No. 3 in the US the following year, topped the US charts. Since then, after multiple lineup changes and musical evolutions, they have produced hits such as “Count On Me,” “Runaway,” and “Jane.” Currently centered on original member David Freiberg, they continue to perform, and in 2020 released a new EP, Mother of the Sun, their first in 12 years, dedicated to the late Paul Kantner, who had led the band since the Jefferson Airplane era. This promises to be a premium live performance that all rock fans should not miss.
