Kimyo Reitaro has established a unique worldview with a vocal ability that straightly expresses a wide range of genres, and as a solo artist he has shown a broad spectrum of activities. He takes the stage in a special eight-piece band lineup including a horn section. He has appeared at numerous domestic festivals, including [FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL] and [RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL], and performs more than 200 live shows per year. In addition to singing on numerous commercials as a vocalist, his activities are wide-ranging, including holding photography exhibitions. In 2023, marking 25 years of his music activity, he released a commemorative album “Kimyo Reitaro.” He teamed up with longtime ally Sunday Kamide, who has also performed with the Genius Band, and with Masaki Suda as a guest, and for the first time he took on writing and composing all tracks himself, continuing to evolve day by day. His first solo show at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall, held in September, sold out. In 2024, as TENSAIBAND BEYOND, he will embark on a tour for the first time in five years, with all performances sold out across the country. Since April, he has been conducting a nationwide acoustic tour across all 47 prefectures. His one-of-a-kind voice that grips listeners’ hearts and his live performances in intimate spaces with a premium band arrangement are must-sees.
