To commemorate Nano Universe's 25th anniversary, in collaboration with Billboard Live, we are hosting a special event titled “music from NANO universe.” The third edition features Young Skinny, a four-piece guitar rock band from Tokyo making their first appearance at Billboard Live! With an average age of 22, they sing about a daily life full of lies and contradictions, led by vocalist Kaya-yu. They formed by recruiting band members through SNS. Since then, releases such as “Sekai ga Boku o Kirai ni natte mo” and “Honto wa ne,” have drawn responses mainly via SNS, and in 2023 they made their major debut with the digital single “Rashiku.” With lyrics that portray the real feelings of young people in a down-to-earth way, they have earned tremendous support from a wide range of fans.
