CASIOPEA, which continues to lead Japan’s fusion scene, will hold its Billboard Live Tour for the first time since the addition of the new keyboardist Jun Abe. Since their formation in 1977, they have released numerous hits such as “ASAYAKE” and “DOMINO LINE,” drawing attention not only in Japan but also from overseas. At the end of last year, member Kiyomi Otaka graduated from the group, and Jun Abe, who is active as a music producer and composer/arranger, joined. With this new start, the band’s name has also returned to its original spelling: CASIOPEA. Maintaining their dazzling technical prowess, CASIOPEA’s latest performances with the new member are set to evolve even further and should not be missed.
