SCANDAL, a four-piece girl band from Osaka, will perform at Billboard Live for the first time in eight years. Formed in 2006 by HARUNA (Vocals/Guitar), MAMI (Guitar/Vocals), TOMOMI (Bass/Vocals), and RINA (Drums/Vocals) who were all at the same dance-and-vocal school, SCANDAL made their major debut in 2008 with the single “DOLL.” They have played live domestically and internationally, and in recent years have also gained support as fashion icons, including producing the apparel brand FEEDBACK. In 2019 they established their private label “her,” and in 2023 were recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest-running female rock band with the same lineup.
