Eternal guitar hero Mitsuyoshi Azuma leads Japan's premier Jump-Jive band on the Billboard Live Tour once again this year! In autumn 1979, while still a student at a certain university, Azuma formed the band as a "graduation gift"; it was supposed to disband upon graduation, but the fun was so great that they reformed nine months later. Since then they have continued their activities through the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras up to the present. The January 2026 LINE CUBE SHIBUYA performance, which wrapped up their 45th anniversary year, sold out immediately, a testament to the immense support that continually makes it seem like they are at their peak. Since then they have toured all over with various lineups, and their energetic activity remains vigorous even as they approach their seventies.
