FLYING KIDS "And We Became Funky"
Overview
FLYING KIDS, the Japanese funk band, are on stage as they enter their 30th anniversary year since their major-label debut.
Having risen from the first-ever Grand King on TBS’s popular TV show Heisei Meibutsu TV: Miyake Yuji’s Ikasu Band Tengoku, they made their major debut in 1990. They delivered smash hits until their 1998 disbandment, blazing through the scene. They reformed in 2007 and have continued to actively push forward as pioneers of Japanese-language funk. In 2020 they released the full album And Then We Became Funky on August 5. Since becoming a nine-member group, they have grown even more powerful and reached a mature peak—don’t miss this ultra-funky stage delivering what could be considered one of their greatest works.
