Yo Hitoto, whose soothing voice has captured people’s hearts with debut songs such as "Moraikanaki" and "Hanamizuki," is a singer with roots in Japan and Taiwan. She debuted in 2002. The following year she won numerous newcomer awards. She also made her first appearance on the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, and her popularity was cemented early on. Since then she has released more hit songs, and in 2008 she held her first Nippon Budokan live show. She has broadened her scope by also working as an actress and publishing poetry, expanding beyond the confines of being a singer. In 2020 she marked further achievements, including completing a nationwide tour—her first in about two years since last year—as well as providing lyrics for Sakurako Ohara and appearing in a film released this year. This eight-year wait for her return will see her on stage with a powerful, top-notch band. In an intimate club setting, she will showcase a groove-filled charm that is slightly different from her usual performances, making it a premium night.
