An airy, coquettish vocal that has been described as “aphrodisiac-like” drives the urban pop of 一十三十一, who will take the stage at Billboard Live this autumn. Her 2012 album CITY DIVE led the era with a polished sound that elevated the influence of city pop, and since then she has continued to release a string of conceptual works. In recent years, she has been active across the scene, providing backing vocals for Kenji Ozawa and serving as the lead vocalist for the neo-doo-wop band JINATANA & EMERALDS. Now she will contribute the music for NHK General Channel Drama 10 “Talio: The Two Who Do Revenge,” alongside Ryusenkei. In addition, as part of the drama’s original soundtrack, the ending theme “悲しいくらいダイヤモンド” is included on an original album titled Talio under the name Ryusenkei / 一十三十一, to be released on November 11.
