LUCKY TAPES, formed by Kai Takahashi (Vo, Key), Keito Taguchi (B), and Kensuke Takahashi (G), released a five-track work "Peace and Magic" soon after formation, which sold out in just three months. They issued their debut single "Touch!" in April 2015 and their debut album "The SHOW" in August. In July 2016 they released their second album "Cigarette & Alcohol" and performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL. In May 2018 they made their major debut with the five-track CD "22," and in October released their major first album "dressing." In November 2020, Kai Takahashi not only wrote the lyrics and music but also handled mixing and mastering for the first time, releasing the latest album "Blend." Their live performances, featuring a nine-member lineup including horn sections, female backing vocals, and percussion, have received high praise from various quarters.
