The Eternal Young General, Yūzō Kayama, makes his first appearance. Since his singing debut, as a pioneer singer-songwriter he released numerous classics such as “Kimi to itsu made mo (Forever with You)” and demonstrated a versatile musicality that incorporated electric, Hawaiian, and other styles. He has also appeared in many works as an actor, earning nationwide popularity through his multi-faceted activities. In recent years, he has interacted with artists across various genres through sampling and remix albums of “O-yome ni oide (Come Be My Bride),” earning respect across generations. Although he was struck by illness in 2020 and forced to suspend activities, in June 2021 he returned with the 60th anniversary concert of his singing debut streamed from Billboard Live Tokyo, marking his first stage since the comeback.
