Junichi Inagaki, whose singing has been described as a silky voice that captivates listeners, and the composer Tetsuji Hayashi, who has produced numerous indispensable classics in Japan’s pop scene, take the stage. This show brings together two artists who have created such classics as “A Dozen Excuses,” “Memories of the Beach Club,” and “PS. I Want to Hold You,” in celebration of the release of an album that also includes new songs. On the day, in addition to performing the songs, there will be talk as well. It will be a truly special day, presented with a lineup unique to this commemorative occasion.
