This year marks MINMI, the Japanese reggae queen, debuting 20 years ago. Her unique musical style blends reggae, hip hop, and R&B, along with Trinidad and Tobago music and soca, and she has continued to rock many listeners. Twenty years after her sensational debut in 2002 with The Perfect Vision, she remains evolving, and is sure to deliver a hot stage whose sound and performance are polished to say “This is MINMI,” giving a sense of an early summer arrival.
