Overview
The four-piece band Passepied, continually updating its unique pop sound, makes its Billboard Live debut. Formed in 2009 around Narita Haneda (keyboard), the group drew attention for their superb musical theory and technique, and for a pop sensibility that can digest music from the 70s to the 00s all at once; the vocalist Natsuki Okuda’s music videos and artworks have also been the talk of the town. They debuted in 2011 with their first mini-album Watashi Kaika Shita wa, and have appeared at numerous major rock festivals. At the end of 2015 they held a solo Nippon Budokan concert, and since then have continued with a hall tour in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka as well as outdoor live events, steadily expanding their audience. In 2020 they teamed up with Universal Music to launch their own label “NEHAN RECORDS,” and last year released their 7th full-length album Nyui. Their ever-evolving presence as a band makes their first-stage performance one you won’t want to miss.
