One instant listen and you’ll never forget it—a rock band with a reputation for unmistakable melodic craft and meticulously arranged songs, the Osaka-based five-piece Novelbright announces its first Billboard Live tour. Formed in 2013 with its original members, the current lineup took shape in January 2019, and a street performance they held in July of that year exploded on social media and through word-of-mouth, instantly spreading their name nationwide. Even after graduating from street performances, they continued to be long-running hits on various streaming charts, and they achieved a major breakthrough as the first indie artist to receive the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) Gold certification for streaming, among other achievements; they also won the 62nd Japan Record Award New Artist Prize. Moreover, this will be a commemorative performance celebrating the 15th anniversary of Billboard Live Tokyo and Osaka’s opening and the 2nd anniversary of Billboard Live Yokohama.
