During the summer of 2022, when Okinawa celebrated the 50th anniversary of its return to the mainland, three Okinawan musicians—vocalists representing Okinawa—took the Billboard Live stage. Supporting musicians included Shuntarō Higa (from HoRookies) and Mina Shirakawa (Keyboards). For the Osaka performance, special guest Alberto Jōma (DIAMANTES) joined, and for the Yokohama and Tokyo performances, special guest Chiharu Tamaki (Kiroro) joined, delivering a unique, one-of-a-kind Okinawan night that you won’t see anywhere else.
