Kaji Hideki, who is celebrating his 25th anniversary since his solo debut, will perform at Billboard Live at the end of his anniversary year! After his activity with the six-member neo-acoustic band "BRIDGE," he made his solo debut in 1996 with the EP "Muscat." Since his debut, he has deepened his ties with Swedish musicians, and with numerous songs incorporating elements of Swedish pop, he has helped lead the 90s Shibuya-kei scene. To this day, rooted in neo-acoustic, new wave, and post-punk, he continues to expand his musical realm with evergreen pop sensibilities. On July 20 this year, he released the definitive Kaji-style summer song, "SUMMER SUNDAY SMILE." For this performance, he plans to showcase mainly songs from his 1st album "Miniskirt" (which recently saw its first vinyl release) and his 2nd album "TEA." In addition to longtime band members including his ally Hirohisa Horie, guest appearances by Maki Nomiya and Moeka Shiozuka (Yōbungaku) have been confirmed. This will be a long-awaited solo appearance for him, so look forward to a one-night-only premium stage where you can enjoy his refreshing, luminous world.
