At the 2021 FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '21, Ryo Sunahara and LEO Imai performed as a special lineup of METAFIVE, and they invited support members Kenichi Shirane (Dr) from GREAT3 and Seiichi Nagai (G) from Sōtai Riron, launching a new activity under the group name TESTSET (Test Set). On August 12 they released their first recorded work, the EP1 TSTST, digitally, and they have delivered dazzling performances at festivals around the country, including SONICMANIA and Asagiri JAM. They will now hold TESTSET’s first Billboard Live concert. It should be a rare night to thoroughly enjoy the four-piece’s meticulously crafted sound production and seasoned live performance, unlike their usual festival venues and live halls.

In addition, as a special guest to color the night, Tachibana Hajime—the leader and bandmaster of the techno-pop group Plastics, as well as a musician/graphic designer/poet active under solo projects such as Hitori Plastics, Hm (Harmainer), and Hm REAL FISH—will appear. This will be their first collaboration on a Billboard Live stage, so we eagerly anticipate what kind of chemistry will unfold.
