Kyoko, who has remained at the forefront of Japan’s rock scene with BARBEE BOYS, Fukumi, and others, and is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her solo debut, will be on stage again this year. After BARBEE BOYS disbanded in 1992, she made her solo debut with the single “DISTANCIA ~ This Heart’s Promise ~.” Since then, in addition to her activities as an artist, she has been active across radio and television, and in August this year released the 30th-anniversary digital single “30minutes.” Her Billboard Live solo show will be the third, following 2020 and 2021. “I want to treat this (the 30th anniversary) as a wonderful milestone and push forward even more in a rock-driven direction,” says the pioneering female rocker in her latest stage.
