Ezra Collective, the most talked-about band leading the thriving UK jazz scene, makes their appearance at Billboard Live! All of the members come from Britain’s renowned music education institution Tomorrow’s Warriors, which has produced a wealth of versatile talents. The band, boasting Joe Armon-Jones, one of the standout young keyboardists, has a unique career—having served as the backing band for New York legend Pharoa Monch, among other highlights—and embodies a sound where jazz blends with Afrobeat, reggae, Latin, and other genres. In 2019 they released their debut album You Can’t Steal My Joy, which drew major attention with performances on big stages like Glastonbury and SXSW. In 2022 they released their long-awaited second album featuring guests such as Sampa The Great and Koji Radical, further thrilling audiences worldwide.
