Ryusenkei will appear at Billboard Live in the spring, with Yasuyuki Horigome on vocals. In August 2022, they released their mini-album Incomplete— their first in about 16 years—featuring self-covers and original songs, with Horigome on vocals for nearly the entire album. By sticking to a live-band sound and a meticulously crafted, timeless sonic world, the album drew much buzz among listeners who had been eagerly awaiting it. As city pop’s reevaluation grows, Ryusenkei—pioneers of the current scene who attract support across generations—and Yasuyuki Horigome, whose sweet voice captivates listeners, are set to perform. Additionally, Atsuko Hiyate from Okinawa will participate in this show, and Risa Harimu and Natsu Summer will join as guest vocalists.
