Young guitar prodigy Marcus King, who inherits the DNA of American rock and soul music, takes the stage with his new album “Young Blood.” Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina and a magnetic young leader of the Marcus King Band, he first visited Japan in 2017 for Fuji Rock Festival. With a permanent band lineup, he captivated the audience with a commanding, full-hearted performance. In 2018, he released his third album, “California Confessions,” and climbed to No. 2 on the US Billboard Blues Album Chart, quickly establishing himself as a rising star who carries on the Southern United States music lineage. In 2020, he made his solo debut with “El Dorado.” That year, he was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Americana Album, drawing attention.
