Having continued composing in her bedroom since childhood and beginning acoustic performances in 2014 around her hometown of Nottingham, she has met and begun to intensify her activity with rising UK-born musicians currently drawing worldwide attention, such as Jordan Rakei and Moses Boyd. While crossing genres like jazz and soul, her music remains deeply true to her love of music, so much so that Gilles Peterson took notice and called her “a wonderful singer-songwriter that the UK should be proud of.” She has released three EPs that have been hits on notable radio stations such as BBC Radio 6 Music and NTS, and just released her long-awaited debut album, Voice Notes, in March this year.
