Drummer John “JR” Robinson, beloved by countless musicians, makes his Billboard Live debut in a trio with renowned players! Known as one of the most-recorded drummers in history, John has contributed to many works, including Lionel Richie's “We Are The World,” Michael Jackson’s “Off The Wall,” and Eric Clapton’s “Change The World.” In 1983, he won a Grammy with Rufus and Chaka Khan for “Ain’t Nobody.” Since 1979, he has served as Quincy Jones’s drummer, and most recently, last year, he performed on the Billboard Live stage as David Foster’s drummer. That he will present a trio with the masters Andrew Sinowick and Mitch Town promises a stage that is a powerful, music-loving moment.
