With a unique and cutting-edge sound where a broad range of musical styles intersect, the experimental soul band WONK—gaining attention both in Japan and abroad—will embark on a Billboard Live tour for the first time in a year. Each member is a multi-talented player/producer/engineer active in the fields of soul, jazz, hip-hop, and rock. Since releasing their debut album in 2016, they have performed at major domestic music festivals and overseas, and have provided songs, remixes, and performances for big domestic and international artists across genres and generations, earning broad recognition for their versatility and high level of skill. This tour will showcase many new songs from their forthcoming album, currently in production. This latest stage, where you can experience WONK’s current momentum up close, is a must-see.
