Saaho Terao, a singer-songwriter whose major-debut album in piano-and-voice format, “Onmi,” became a topic of conversation across many quarters in 2007 and earned praise from Ryuichi Sakamoto and Taeko Ohnuki, makes her first appearance. In addition to performing the theme songs for director Nobuhiko Obayashi’s The Transfer Student: Goodbye, You and for Momoko Ando’s 0.5 Millimeter (starring Sakura Ando), her recent work has also drawn a large response from a KDDI commercial and NHK’s Dear Nippon theme. In the winter, just after the release of her third album “flow,” she will be joined as a special guest by the three-piece band Fuyu ni Wakarete (formed with Reizaburō Adachi and Kō Iga) and by Mahito the People.
