Makoto Kawamoto, a singer-songwriter who made her major debut in 1996 with “Talent of Love” and has since produced numerous hits, continues to excel across genres—from band projects and songwriting to picture-book writing and singing in commercials. Following last year’s highly acclaimed first Billboard Live Tour, concerts in Tokyo and Osaka are scheduled again this year. She’ll be performing with the German brass band Hochzeitskapelle, opening a new artistic frontier with songs from her latest album, “Hikari.” It promises to be a special night featuring Billboard Live–exclusive song selections and performances.
