Osaka-based five-piece rock band Novelbright, who celebrate their 10th anniversary this year, will hold an acoustic Billboard Live tour in three cities. Their street performance in July 2019 drew attention, and “Walking with you,” which logged a long-running hit on various streaming charts, achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the indie artist’s first streaming (Gold) certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). In 2020 they made their major debut with Universal Music/Universal Sigma with “Sunny drop,” and while actively performing live at venues ranging from clubs to arenas, they released their major second album “Assort” last year. The three songs “Walking with you,” “Tsukimisou,” and “Ai toka Koi toka” have surpassed 100 million total streams. With emotionally stirring, powerful vocals, solid melodic craftsmanship, and meticulously crafted arrangements that captivate listeners, they will deliver a special stage in their anniversary year.
