Overview
Legendary funk band Zapp, who swept the 1980s, makes a long-awaited return to Billboard Live. Carrying on the late Roger Troutman’s legacy, they’ve carved their name into the history of Black music with a distinctive sound that makes full use of the talk box. Beyond their many hits that have kept the floor buzzing, they continue to update their fiery sound while touring the world, for example by releasing a new album in 2018 after 17 years. This will be their first on-stage performance since their milestone countdown show at the end of 2019, the first in the Reiwa era. Don’t miss the chance to directly feel the groove that embodies the essence of funk.
