Guitar duo Yamagen, consisting of Hirokazu Ogura and Yoshiyuki Sahashi, will hold an autumn analog best-of release tour. The group name originates from the idea of “playing stringed instruments that are mountain-like.” Since forming in 1991, they have performed not only various guitars but also banjo and mandolin, as well as a variety of other string instruments such as Irish bouzouki and autoharp, captivating listeners with their timbre. Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2021, they released the album TOKYO MUNCH, their first in 17 years. Last year, they staged the tour Yamagen 30th Festival here at Billboard Live, their first in 11 years. In April this year, they released a two-disc analog best-of, and this tour will be a premium stage where you can thoroughly enjoy the two of them performing their original songs.
