A global breakout sparked by TikTok! Salem Iris, the new generation POP princess born in 1999, makes her Billboard Live debut. Hailing from California, Salem began singing about the boy she liked since kindergarten and aspired to a career as a singer-songwriter. By the time she was 12, Bonnie Hayes, who has contributed to songs for Cher and others, noticed her songwriting talent, and she went on to study music at Berklee College of Music. Among the tracks she kept releasing while working weekends without rest, “Mad at Disney” broke out worldwide thanks to TikTok, becoming a hit with over 200 million total streams. Since then, she has continued to be prolific in her music production, and in 2021 she released the EP “(L)only Child” and announced collaborations with Alan Walker, Surfaces, and others, as well as contributing to songs such as Bella Poarch’s “Build A Bitch” and TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s “Anti-Romantic.” In 2022, the star-studded collaboration “PS5” between TOMORROW X TOGETHER and Alan Walker became a smash hit, and she released the EP “UNSPONSORED CONTENT.” Since the start of this year, she has continued releasing singles consistently, and please look forward to Salem’s cute, punky, high-energy, powerhouse performance that will keep our hearts racing!
