Overview
Continuously at the forefront of Japan’s music scene, singer-songwriter Junko Yagami—who was inducted into the US Women Songwriters Hall of Fame last year—and Tsugutoshi Gotō brought you and enjoyed great acclaim with the The Night Flight series. Last autumn, the series gracefully concluded after reaching its tenth edition, but next spring it will reappear at Billboard Live in a refreshed guise, titled “～New Departure.” This show is also popular for presenting familiar songs in each performance with fresh, innovative arrangements.
This time, the band lineup will include pianist Jun Satō, newly welcomed guitarist Ima Tsuyoshi, and drummer Hideo Yamaki, bringing together Japan’s top-tier musicians. The thrilling, powerful performances will invite you on a new voyage.
