Arrested Development
Arrested Development
Overview
Pioneers Arrested Development, who have refreshed the image of hip-hop with organic sounds and hybrid musicality, have decided to cap the year celebrating hip-hop’s 50th anniversary with a groovy finale at Billboard Live!
Their 1992 debut track “Tennessee” became a defining hit of the 1990s and quickly brought their name to the world, followed by big hits such as “People Everyday” and “Mr. Wendal,” and they have won two Grammy Awards. Known for live performances rooted in a spiritual message, their shows fuse rap, vocals, dance, and live instruments into a cohesive whole. To celebrate 2023, a milestone year marking 50 years since hip-hop’s birth, and to feel the fresh start toward 2024 with positive, happy vibes, don’t miss this special opportunity. On Sunday, December 31, Billboard Live Tokyo, 2nd set, is a countdown show with glass champagne served to all seats! Here’s to the year ahead—together with Arrested Development!
