Former WEAVER member Yuji Sugimoto brings to the stage the album ONLY LIVE ONCE, released under his solo project ONCE. He rose to prominence as the piano-vocalist of the piano-rock band WEAVER, which disbanded after a February 2023 live show. In addition to performing, he works across a wide range of activities, including providing songs and arranging/producing for various artists, offering support, and handling music for musicals such as The Monster and the Detective and Songwriters, as well as Earth-Gorgeous productions. He has also appeared on stage as a performer in the production I’m Going to Quit My Job Starting Now, among other works. The project name ONCE is derived from “You only live once” (人生一度きり), carrying the wish: in a single lifetime, a new piece of music is born in that moment, and I want to continue sharing that excitement with everyone from now on.
