Maki Nomiya, the "Queen of Original Shibuya-kei," will headline a three-city Billboard Live tour!

At the September 2023 stage, she gave a brilliant performance of [Maki Nomiya, Sings Shibuya-kei Kayōkyoku], an innovative update of kayōkyoku that has been booming both domestically and internationally, and she is eager for a sequel to the music project "Maki Nomiya, Sings Shibuya-kei," a series that carries on the roots and classics of Shibuya-kei.

For Maki Nomiya's birthday in March 2024, the stage will be colored with a lineup of eclectic artists as guests, in a performance themed as "Reiwa Shibuya-kei."

The Billboard Live Osaka show on March 9 and the Billboard Live Tokyo show on March 12 (Nomiya's birthday) will be birthday concerts featuring Ryōhei Shima of The Dresscodes as guest vocalist. This will be their first collaboration, made possible by Mitsuo Shindo, the art director who helped support the Shibuya-kei movement and is a source of pride for Japan worldwide, who advised Nomiya that she should work with Ryōhei Shima.

The band features Hirohisa Horie, who is also a member of Neil and Iraiza and part of Cornelius' band, and guitarist Seiichi Nagai, known for his work with TESTSET and QUBIT, among other stellar musicians.

With glam rock as the musical base, Maki Nomiya and Ryōhei Shima will create a glamorous, gorgeous live show. This will be unlike anything Nomiya has done before—please look forward to a new stage.
