Formed in Yokohama in March 2004, 9mm Parabellum Bullet debuted on a major label in 2007 after coming up through the indie scene, and two years later they held a Nippon Budokan concert. To date they have released nine original albums, and with a musical style that has absorbed punk, metal, emo, hardcore, and J-POP among other genres—along with their intense live performances—they have earned widespread popularity. A one-night Billboard Live concert has been scheduled to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Stage 1 will be men-only, and Stage 2 will be women-only, promising different energies.
