Snarky Puppy, the contemporary powerhouse jazz‑fusion collective whose unique, genre‑defying musicality has earned four Grammys for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, will make its Billboard Live debut and is set to bring its first Japanese tour in four years.

Since its formation in 2004 by bassist Michael League and his friends at the University of North Texas, the group has operated as a music collective that does not fix its lineup, bringing together cutting‑edge artists from around the world, expressing diverse cultures, and continually evolving as artists.

In 2022, their latest album Empire Central shifted to a funkier sound, and Michael says, “The band’s rule is not to keep the same sound as before. Music should always be moving somewhere.”
