JP Saxe
JP saxophone.
Overview
JP Saxe, the Toronto-born singer-songwriter whose worldwide hit “If the World Was Ending (feat. Julia Michaels)” was nominated for Best Song at the 63rd Grammy Awards, has been urgently confirmed to make his Billboard Live debut.
Born in Toronto in 1993, JP Saxe released the single “The Few Things” in 2018 and earned a contract with Sony Music after his first tour. In October 2019, when he released the duet “If the World Was Ending (feat. Julia Michaels),” it surpassed 1.2 billion streams worldwide, and the music video has racked up about 130 million views, becoming a widely talked-about big hit. His debut EP “Hold It Together,” released in 2020, was praised by TIME magazine, with five of the eight tracks highlighted as “5 Best Songs of the Week.” In 2021 he released his highly anticipated debut album, with John Mayer on guitar and Finneas O’Connell, Billie Eilish’s brother, producing—another major talking point. Look forward to a special night with him, whose tender singing voice and beautiful melodies resonate with people of all ages and genders.
